Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this program, you must be a resident of the (1) Miami-Dade County Florida and (2) must meet one of the following requirements:

Full-time student over the age of 18
Unemployed
Over the age of 55.
Active military or Veterans
Live in Miami Dade county
Government assistance? e.g. food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, disability, social security.
Disability. (Letter confirming from state)
You have a current bank balance (savings and checking combined) under $2,001. Please see Yearly Household Income.
Miami Dade county employee. (First Reponders, Educator, Police, doctor, Nurse etc.)
You have a current bank balance (savings and checking combined) under $3,001 and share your household with one of the following:
1. A person or persons age 55 and over
2. A person with a disability (a child, your spouse, a parent, or yourself).

IDENTIFICATION:

Driver’s license or State ID with Current Address
- Another Photo ID (Gov.)
  1. Passport
  2. Immigration ID
  3. Marijuana Card
- If no Photo ID (Must come and sign up in person by appointments only).
  1. Certified copy of Birth certificate

PROOF OF ADDRESS:

2 forms of proof of address
- Lease/Deed
- Utility Bill – Bank statement if not utility bill. No credit cards bills, cellphone
- Homeless certification
- Notarized letter from person living with plus proof of address from that person.

(1) MAKE SURE ID IS NOT EXPIRED AND/OR (2) THE LEASE IS ACTIVE (3) AND/OR UTILITY BILL WAS ISSUED WITHIN LAST 6 MONTHS.
